AMORE - THE GRANNY SQUARE CUSHION WITH HEART the granny square cushion with heart pattern

♡ ABOUT: Amore, a cute cushion adds even more love to your decor. The idea for this pattern is heavily influenced by my Heartstrings blanket. What can I say, I HEART GRANNY SQUARES.
To make Amore, start by batch making the granny squares centres for the heart and join them as you go using the CJAYG method. Once the heart is done, move onto the background by batch making more granny squares centres, which are then joined also using the CJAYG method. To finish the entire cushion, add the signature HGDC border and then weave in your ends.
This patten has been tested.
♡ SKILL LEVEL: If you can make a granny square you can make this.
♡ SIZE: Finished cushion size- Front: 8 x 8 granny squares
- Back: 8 x 8 granny squares
- 18 x 18" / 45 x 45 cm
♡ YARN: uses double knit (DK) yarn*:
- For the heart you will need 20g.
- For the joining colour you will need 95g.
- For the granny squares centres you will need 90g.
- For the seam you will need 5g.
- Total weight is 210g.
*NOTE: You can use whatever fibre content and colour you desire as long as you match gauge.
